The Black Swan created Sophie and modified her to make her have many abilities, impenetrable mind and a way for Sophie to break through even the ancient mind and a blocked mind. There's another group of rebel, the Black Swan, who are working against the Neverseen. In book 4, Keefe betrayed Sophie and faked joining the Neverseen (the group of rebels that is constantly trying to kill Sophie and her friends), but then later escaped and made it up to her by giving her Kenric's cache(A councillor who is supportive of Sophie but sadly, deceased). No elves has this many abilities at once powers (some are even talentless so they don't have a special ability), so that makes her very vulnerable. Sophie has 5 special abilities, which are Telepathy, Inflicting, Polyglot, Teleporting, and Enchancing.
Then there's a group of rebellion, who want to capture Sophie because of her unique powers and abilities. She is to leave behind everything in her human life and begin a new one in the Lost Cities. It's about a girl named Sophie Elizabeth Foster, who finds out that she's an elf by Fitz Vacker. Keeper of the Lost Cities is a middle grade series.
